2014 – FIFA World Cup in Porto Alegre – (by Vera Melo)

The 2014 – FIFA World Cup will be in Brazil and Porto Alegre will be one of the host cities. In my opinion it will be a big event in the city. Many reforms should be done in here to can receive people from all around the world. Even though we do not know yet what countries will play here, the city must be ready to receive sportsmen and the staffs involved with them.
At first, the stadium where the teams will play should be completely reformed; probably a new stadium will be build. These stadiums need to offer comfort, security and some facilities like easy access to stadium and a special food place to the people and players. The governmental institution and other investors will work to improve the public transport, streets, hospitals, hotels, restaurants, shops and especially the security.
I think that this event will be very good for Porto Alegre, as also for the state. It will have an international projection and consequently the tourism will raise here.

Fifa World Cup 2014( By Rodrigo)

Well,this was certanly unexpected.I mean,there are many big countries and cities out there,and our Brazil unfortunately is generally ignored by Fifa for some reason,but there it is,a World Cup here.

It is quite a good new,specially since it means that our country authorities will have to work and make sure the country is better.

At first,FIFA said that Brazil didn't have any stadiums that could be used on the World Cup.However,Fifa has now approved the Brazil as the country that'll have the World Cup.However,there are many things we'll have to change,such as building better stadiuns.The disaster in Bahia,should prove it; many people died because of bad infrastructure on a stadium.

Even so,all things considered,I believe our country has what it takes to host the World Cup.

There are many qualities on the mother.It is thanks to her that we are even alive,as we are born from them.A mother needs to have patience with their son,and love,so that she might be a good mother,besides,she helps everyone on the house to have a better life,by cooking,reading stories for the youngest members of the famly,and other things.They do deserve a day for them,for all the great things they did to us.

So thanks for all the mothers,and a happy(late) Mother's Days.You are all the greatest!

Everybody know that Ronaldo Luis Nazário de Lima is a super star soccer player. Ronaldo also known simply as Ronaldinho or “Phenomenon”.
Ronaldo is currently playing for club Sport Club Corinthians Paulista. But in 1993, he began his professional football career playing for Cruzeiro, which was already going on to become a successful club. In his first and only year with Cruzeiro, Ronaldo amassed 12 goals in 14 appearances and lead them to their first Copa do Brasil championship. After Cruzeiro, he signed with Dutch football team PSV in 1994. In 1996, his final year with PSV, Ronaldo helped them win the Dutch Cup. Ronaldo has also played for Barcelona, Milan, Real Madrid and Internazionale
Ronaldo has a Brazilian national scoring record. He was a part of the Brazilian squad that won the 1994 and 2002 World Cup. During the 2006 World Cup, Ronaldo became the highest goalscorer in the history of the World Cup with his 15 goals, surpassing Gerd Muller's previous record of 14.
He is also one of only two footballers to have won the FIFA Player of the year award thee times, along with French footballer Zinédine Zidane.
Next sunday in São Paulo city, Ronaldo will participate in the final game of Paulista championship. As I said nowadays he plays for Corinthians. The game will be against Santos. Will have two football matches, the first will be in Santos city and the second one will be in São Paulo city.
After all this information; I have sure that the Ronaldo will be the main player of matches.

On my internships and now with our classes of Pedagogical Practice (???) I could confirm something that I've already had in mind. The importance of work with things that really catch the attention of our Students. Like musics, movies and the most representative to me... cartoons.

Who here never watched the serie called "The Simpsons" and never learned something new? With their Smart philosofy of life showing all the bad side of the things with an awesome good

 mood and making us to think better about the things. Or even the offensive and hilarious "South Park" that is the mix of dark humour with infomation to think about. And those are only 2 options that we have to work with them. If you watch TV today you'll receive lots and lots of information that can be very useful to you in class. Moreovre I dare say that is good to you to know about some cartoons due the fact that one day you'll need to explain somethin

g that they are not understanding and using an example more attractive, certainly they will get it really fast.

I did it some time and I always got a positive outcome.

This time I’m going to talk about a thing I like to do in my leisure time which is read manga. Manga is a Japanese comic book. It’s usually printed in black and white and you must read the left to right side. Often comic books are associcated to children but in japan are totally different. Manga is read by people of several ages and the vast kinds comprehend adventure, romance, sports, drama, sex, mystery, and etc. The manga’s target public is divided by genre which contain shojo, josei, seinen, shonen, seijin, yuri and yaoi manga.
Shojo manga is usually focused in young girls and deal with ideal romance, comedy and in this style they show what the characters feel through the story. Josei manga is focused in young woman and deal with daily life and real relationships. Shonen manga is focused in young boys and deal with adventure and action. Yuri and yaoi manga is focused in relationship between girls and boys of same genre. Yuri is focused in girl’s relationship and yuri is focused in boys relationship.
What become manga so amazing is the divertsity of designing that the drawer put in each page and what make diference when you see the figure. Besides the reasons I presented here to know manga what stimulate me to read is because through stories you can learn about japanese culture and how they live, its really nice.

This is the last time that we writte in our blog and I would like to know that it was an excellent idea and I enjoy a lot to writte and read all that was wrote were for my friends.
In this semestre we could read about very interesting subjects, controversials things, points of view, very good ideas and feelings .
As we never had wrote in a blog before, it was great for us lose the shyness and this is one more form be exposed in a language.
I hope that this idea continue in the next semestre and with news ideas.
